Restaurant Literaturhaus in Nuremberg

One of my favorite restaurants to start the day off with. This restaurant offers, among other things, a large selection of breakfast menus for every taste in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. The service is excellent and friendly. In the last few months in particular, it has often been difficult to find a place spontaneously. A reservation is therefore recommended. The rest of the menu is also impressive. In addition, there is always a changing selection of delicious cakes and tarts to be found here, which can be enjoyed with the coffee specialties on offer. Overall, a place worth visiting at any time of the day.

Very varied and delicious food. The wait staff are extremely courteous and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I love it :)

After about 20 minutes of waiting outside, a waitress finally came and took my order. I would like to say that the staff was not overly busy, I was very annoyed about it.

If you want to have a leisurely and extensive breakfast in Nuremberg, this is the place for you. A relaxed atmosphere, generous portions and great taste anyway. Gluten-free rolls weren't a problem either. The service was always attentive and very nice! No pretended friendliness, as one often has in other restaurants. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Nuremberg!

Great place for having breakfast in downtown Nürnberg.

Good all round! We had discovered a voucher at home that had been issued a long time ago. The chef of the restaurant accepted him anyway. The breakfasts ordered were of high quality and also very tasty and good in terms of quantity. We had a very courteous waitress who was very on our toes. It was really a successful stay.

At events in Corona times, no 1.5 m distance. Hygiene concept as good as nonexistent. Definitely too dangerous for me. I left again on the last evening

I was here in the afternoon, it was more like a granny coffee with an ice cream parlor atmosphere. Delicious tea, waiters professional, quick and friendly, everything fits 👍😎 good in price. Nobody reads. But there are books! 🤓

Coffee is mild, cake is in average, 3 stars only; however atmosphere and services make you feel warm and welcome, a bonus star is given out!

One of the best restaurants I had in this city, really nice waiters, great food. if you want to change from eating only Wurst in Germany, this is the place to go. The desserts are really good and homemade and cheap.

Very friendly staff who speak English well. The menu had a wide variety of foods, from pastries and cakes, to meats and fruit salads. had the Sailor's Breakfast which had some excellent smoked salmon and trout fillet. All of the food tasted fresh and was served with an exquisite presentation and the restaurant itself has a very cozy cafe atmosphere.

Nice big breakfast and kind service

We ate breakfast. 1x cereal and 1x fish. Everything was delicious. Likewise the coffee. Service fast and good. Wonderful place to have breakfast also because of the morning sun.

After long waiting at the beginnig all services were fast. Food was ok and lot of, but nothing suprising. Maybe better for coffee and desert.

great location! great food! if you are tired of sausages and pork, there are some delicious fish options. I had Trout Menurier and it was so good! Besides, this place is open on Sundays, when most of the restaurants in the area is closed, so it's a savior! And it has a great variety of tempting cakes and tarts, so I guess it's good for a afternoon tea or coffee with cake.

Absolutely loved this place. The decor was great, our server was super friendly and helpful. Had the lentil curry which was delicious.

Six stars for the service as it was the best I had ever received from any restaurant. Our server was very friendly even though none of us spoke german and she took care of us so well! Food was good. Do try their apple streusel for dessert.
